1. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting services from Locksmiths Of Colorado Springs (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) — by phone, online form, or in person — you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not request or use our services.
2. Services Provided
Locksmiths Of Colorado Springs provides mobile and on-site locksmith services in Colorado Springs, CO and surrounding areas, including but not limited to:
- Residential locksmith services (home lockouts, rekeying, lock installation)
- Automotive locksmith services (car lockouts, key replacement, transponder programming)
- Commercial locksmith services (business lockouts, master key systems, access control)
- Emergency locksmith services (24/7 lockout response)
- Safe opening and servicing
Services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion, including but not limited to situations where proof of ownership or authorization cannot be verified.
3. Pricing and Payment
3.1 Quotation
All services are quoted at a flat rate before work begins. Our technician will provide a verbal or written quote upon arrival or via phone. Work will not commence until the Customer agrees to the quoted price.
3.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of service.
- We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and debit cards.
- We do not accept checks.
- No upfront payment is required before service begins.
3.3 No Hidden Fees
The price quoted before work begins is the final price. There are no service call fees, after-hours surcharges, or hidden charges. If additional work is required beyond the original scope, a revised quote will be provided and must be approved before proceeding.
4. Customer Responsibilities
By requesting locksmith services, the Customer represents and warrants that:
- They are the owner of the property or vehicle, or have explicit written authorization from the owner to request locksmith services.
- They are legally authorized to be at the service location.
- They will provide valid government-issued photo identification upon request by our technician.
- All information provided to us (address, vehicle information, identity) is accurate and truthful.
We reserve the right to refuse service if proof of ownership or authorization cannot be established.
5. Proof of Ownership
For automotive key replacement and programming services, Customers must provide:
- Government-issued photo ID matching the name on the vehicle registration
- Vehicle registration or title in their name (or authorization documentation if acting on behalf of the owner)
For residential or commercial services, our technician may ask for identification confirming the Customer's name and the address of the property.
6. Service Warranty and Satisfaction Guarantee
Locksmiths Of Colorado Springs stands behind the quality of all work performed. If you experience an issue directly related to our workmanship within 30 days of service, contact us and we will return to correct the issue at no charge.
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by subsequent misuse, tampering, or improper use of locks or hardware
- Issues caused by pre-existing lock, door, or vehicle conditions
- Hardware defects in third-party products installed at Customer's request
7. Limitation of Liability
Locksmiths Of Colorado Springs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for that specific service.
8. Cancellation and No-Shows
- There is no cancellation fee for canceling a scheduled appointment before technician dispatch.
- If a technician has been dispatched and arrives on-site, a trip fee may apply at our discretion.
- Emergency lockout calls cannot be cancelled once a technician is en route.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our website — including text, images, logos, and code — is the property of Locksmiths Of Colorado Springs or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
10. Privacy
Your use of our services and website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of El Paso County, Colorado.
